What's Happening
Following in the foot steps of Hiram Abiff the Master Craftsman working with iron and stone,
I have been honing my sculpting skills from small to large
2022 is here and it looks like the worst of COVID is behind us.....we can only hope. We had a great turnout for our extra meeting March 15th, there were around 30 Brethren out including the D.D.G.M. I had the opportunity to confer the 3rd degree on Shane Lee Gansell and Bro. Thomas W. Hiller, P.M. gave the charge. It was good to be at lodge and participate.
I presented the Worshipful Master with a set of custom coasters that I made.
I'm at it again, I made this baseball glove sculpture for my Grand Daughter Gabby.
Check out my other ones that I made.

The covid-19 pandemic certainly has taken its toll on Masonic lodges throughout the county. Not only by loss of meetings and fellowship, but the loss of members and loved ones. We can only pray that we soon can return to a normal way of life and go back to doing the things that we love. So many of us were confined to our homes and many working from home. Doing this past year, I found myself having time to brush up on my auto repair skills and helping a couple of brothers out with their vehicles. Brother George Van Horn had much needed repairs to his Honda Accord, Brother Bill Beitz needed repairs to his Chevy truck. Brother Robert Paul required help with his Jeep wrangler. We may have not met up at lodge, but rather at my shop. I'd like to share photos of those repairs, click on here for each one.
Here
is Bro. Van Horn's repairs.
Here is Bro. Beitz's repairs. Bro. Paul's repairs included replacing his radiator and transmission fluid and filter. I also restored an early John Deere pedal tractor for his wife.
Here is the tractor.
And to top it all off, I tried my hand at metal sculpting, I was rather please with the results. Take a look

Signed, sealed and delivered...What a nice match to the altar
The Grand Master has officially closed all Pennsylvania lodges until June 1st 2020 due to the coronavirus epidemic.Since we are called off from labor, I have been doing some things for the lodge.
The altar kneelers were originally built to low and another cushion was used on top.
Not very pretty and awkward to kneel on.
I took the off time to improve them.
I have used them the old way to confer 15 of my 203 degrees to date, and looking forward
to using them comfortably in the future.
Below is the before and after

If you missed strawberry night, you missed a good time. The weather was beautiful out in the pavilion, there were 30 brothers enjoying hamburgers and strawberry shortcake. Thanks to those who manned the kitchen, it is a thankless task and greatly appreciated. Next Tuesday the 18th we will be having an extra meeting to confer three first degrees. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. Another great meeting @ Oriental Lodge, there were 30+ brothers for the dinner before our meeting. Sausage and pancakes hit the spot and got everyone ready for a good meeting. The program was presented by our own Bro. Robert A. Sutcliffe, P.M. on the rusty mason, we voted on 6 new petitions (membership is growing...) and we are looking forward to the upcoming Fun Fair. It is amazing to see the attendance at our meetings, keep up the good work Brethren and
remember bring a brother with you to the meetings...lets see if we can hit 50 at a meeting. June will be the start of extra meetings for degree work, we are planning on holding them right thru July and August, please come out and support the candidates and officers in seeing successful meetings. We need to show these new candidates that they are joining a worthy organization, lets impress with a large attendance for all three degrees.
